“This song is us having fun and embracing our more poppy roots,” says My Side of Paradise. “We’ve released heavy songs and emotional songs, but ‘All My Exes’ shows that we can also laugh at ourselves. Having Jaret Reddick on it is surreal. His voice helped define this genre, and now he’s part of our story.”

Accompanying the single’s release is a visually inventive and humor-filled music video that takes viewers inside a therapy session gone completely off the rails. As the band’s frontman confronts his past relationships, reality begins to unravel,  the waiting room morphs into a live performance, exes start to appear from thin air, and the therapist is revealed to be Jaret Reddick himself, video-calling in from a tropical getaway.

Due to Reddick’s touring schedule (and with his full blessing), the band took a cutting-edge creative approach, using AI technology to bring him into the video. By combining Midjourney for imagery with Kling for motion, prop integration, and lip-syncing, the team created a remarkably lifelike AI-generated version of Reddick that blurs the line between the real and the surreal.

The result is a tongue-in-cheek, emotionally charged, and visually stunning video, a perfect mirror of the song’s themes of self-awareness, chaos, and finding humor in heartbreak.

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Peter DiMaggio is an award-winning actor and multi-instrumentalist composer whose artistry bridges stage and studio. A self-taught musician, DiMaggio plays piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, harmonica, and more. After studying acting at Interlochen Arts Academy, Boston University (BFA), and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, he built a thriving theater career with acclaimed companies such as SpeakEasy Stage Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Actors’ Shakespeare Project, and Wheelock Family Theatre — where he earned an Elliot Norton Award for his work in The SpongeBob Musical.

Produced by Mike Midura at Cyber Sound Studios in Boston, the track showcases Maria Rosa’s signature ability to turn life’s challenges into an unforgettable soundscape.

“My triggers! For my haters and backstabbers—they fuel my fire. They trigger my aria,” Maria Rosa explains. “I cut off anyone who doesn’t have my best interests at heart. Love me correctly, or get the steppin’. My time is precious, and I protect my peace by any means necessary.”

Written and performed spontaneously, the track emerged from a moment of real-life conflict and bullying. “I went into the studio and freestyled it,” Maria Rosa recalls. “It was a mood that day, and the result is pure honesty and fire. Maria Rosa La Kakiee is a Boston-based independent recording artist, singer-songwriter, and musician. Born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she began performing at an early age, appearing in talent shows, nightclubs, and house parties, developing a craft forged in fire.

Maria Rosa’s journey includes remarkable achievements:

• NBA Cheerleader for the Boston Celtics (2003–2007)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance & Accounting, and Performing Arts from Cambridge College (2016)
• Over 20 years of experience writing, performing, and producing music

Her life story is one of resilience and triumph: raised by a strong Cuban-Chinese mother, she survived a traumatic childhood incident and later lost her mother to illness in 2020. Through it all, Maria Rosa turned her pain into purpose, channeling life’s challenges into her music. Trigger My Aria represents the culmination of her dedication, life lessons, and unwavering pursuit of her dream.
