Chapter 33 ‘Passing the Torch’: A nostalgic yet explosive track blending early-2000s Warped Tour energy with B

Chapter 33 announces the release of “Passing the Torch”. The track delivers a powerful blend of fast, early-2000s pop-punk energy layered with the band’s signature Beatles-inspired harmonies — a defining element of their sound. As their second official single, “Passing the Torch” showcases Chapter 33’s growing identity: tight instrumentation, emotional depth, and melody-forward songwriting.

The single was mixed and produced by Mitchi Dimitriadis, and drums recorded by Jordan Robinson. The accompanying music video — created by Jean-Philippe Grignon — was inspired by a friend’s unforgettable road-rage story, bringing a nostalgic, humorous visual layer to the song’s themes.

“Passing the Torch” explores themes of accountability, personal growth, and the cycles we inherit or break. With punchy riffs and infectious vocal lines, the track captures the feeling of stepping back, recognizing destructive patterns — both in others and ourselves — and choosing a better path forward.

“What inspired the song was my observations of people in my life who always seemed to blame the world for their shortcomings. It was never their fault. ‘Passing the Torch’ is about taking a step back, taking accountability, and realizing how much our mindset shapes our reality. For me, it’s also about noticing parts of myself in those same people — recognizing what cycles I needed to break. I hope listeners hear this track and think of the specific people in their lives who’ve made them doubt themselves. You’re not the crazy one, you don’t need to change — you’re great the way you are. Learn from them, carry on, and stay true to yourself.” – Chapter 33

“It’s an honor to have been a part of this band’s journey. I distinctly remember the emotions that hit me when we were recording the lyrics for ‘Passing the Torch,’ and I was pleasantly surprised. The song manages to touch on real life and thought-provoking topics but in the most wholesome, nostalgic, and humorous way. I was taken back after working on the album as a whole and hearing all the lyrics come together. It’s a privilege to work with artists who are also dear friends — artists who finally have something real to convey in their music in this day and age. It is out there, you just have to really dig for it, and I’m confident Chapter 33 will be among the gems you find.” – Mitchi Dimitriadis (Producer)

ARTIST BIO

Chapter 33 is a rising pop-punk/alt-rock band based between Gatineau and Ottawa, blending fast-paced early-2000s punk energy with rich Beatlesque harmonies and emotionally honest lyricism. Fronted by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter [Your Name], the project first gained attention for its distinctive combination of tight riffing, layered vocal arrangements, and storytelling rooted in self-reflection and lived experience.

Following their debut single, Chapter 33 continues to develop a signature sound that bridges nostalgia with fresh modern edge. “Passing the Torch” marks their second official release, setting the stage for a third single and accompanying music video arriving early next year. With influences drawing from Green Day, Blink-182, The Beatles, and Lagwagon, Chapter 33 is carving out a space in the next wave of Canadian pop-punk — one harmony-laced anthem at a time.

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Rising heavy rock sensation Georgia Nicole returns with her latest single, Too Alive, a raw and electrifying anthem born from personal struggle and resilience. Known for her dynamic vocals and high-octane live performances, Georgia has been captivating audiences across the UK since 2021, most notably at the iconic Isle of Wight Festival, where she has performed on multiple stages each year.

“Georgia Nicole’s new single ‘Too Alive’ is a fearless burst of emotion and rock energy,” says Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “With raw honesty and electrifying performance, she’s an artist who commands the stage and connects deeply with every listener. This release is just the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary journey.”

Too Alive was written during a particularly challenging period in Georgia’s life, capturing feelings of isolation and inner turmoil. Originally a piano ballad, the song evolved into a rock powerhouse, complete with anthemic chants, giving voice to listeners who may have experienced similar struggles. “I wanted to show people that they’re not alone in their suffering,” says Georgia.

Since her debut, Georgia has been making waves in the UK rock scene. Her first single racked up over 23,000 streams in just six months, reflecting her growing fanbase and the strong connection she forges through her music. She has also achieved numerous milestones, including:

  • Performing five times at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2025 alone, on stages including Platform One, Kashmir, and Electrolove.
  • Breaking the South Coast Music Show record for consecutive weeks in their top ten charts with her single Game You Play, which also reached number 2 in their 2025 charts.
  • Being featured as One to Watch in Isle of Wight Radio’s 2024 and 2025 editions.
  • Finalist in the Wight Noize competition in 2024 and 2025, debuting Too Alive at the 2025 finals.

Georgia’s musical versatility extends beyond her solo career. She is the lead vocalist for the celebrated function band Forever To Go and performs as Hayley Williams in the Paramore tribute band Paramour, which drew a 4,000-person audience at its 2025 Isle of Wight Festival debut. Additionally, she performs in an Eminem tribute act, consistently filling stages at Electrolove to capacity.

Inspired by artists such as Nothing But Thieves, The Killers, Muse, and Shinedown, Georgia’s sound blends powerful rock riffs with emotionally charged lyrics, delivering performances that leave a lasting impression. With her sights set on touring worldwide, Georgia seeks to share her music with diverse audiences while embracing festival culture, which she has loved since attending Leeds Festival at age 13.

Too Alive, is part of her upcoming EP, A Little Bit Of It All, and marks the next step in Georgia Nicole’s journey as a rising heavy rock artist, highlighting her resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication to live performance.

chinachinachina Unveil Debut Album ‘dive in / breathe out’

LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS | VINYL PURCHASE

With dive in / breathe out, chinachinachina unveil their long-awaited debut album: a deeply emotional, carefully crafted body of work that confirms the Málaga-based trio as one of the most singular new voices in Spain’s alternative music landscape.

Blending dream rock with contemporary R&B, subtle electronic textures, and flashes of jungle and drum & bass, chinachinachina build a sound that feels expansive, intimate, and quietly bold. Annie Bravo (vocals, keyboards), Juande Jiménez (drums, programming, bass), and Javier Moral (guitars, synths) transform shared sensibilities into a sonic language that is immediately recognizable, elegant, hypnotic, and unafraid of stillness.

Although echoes of artists such as London Grammar, Darkside, The xx, Wild Beasts, or piri can be felt, dive in / breathe out never settles into homage. Instead, the album exists outside obvious scenes or trends. As much as it draws from dream pop, R&B, jungle, and electronic music, it ultimately sounds like chinachinachina alone, unanchored to geography, genre, or expectation.

The record is structured as two interconnected movements. Dive in explores experiences that pull you under: emotional depths, mistakes, hard lessons, moments that leave marks. Breathe out represents resurfacing, the calm that follows intensity, the clarity that arrives after darkness, the decision to keep moving forward. Together, the album traces a full emotional arc: sinking, learning, surviving, and finally exhaling.

“There was a moment when all these songs were meant to stay hidden in a drawer,” Annie Bravo admits. “They only existed as a way for me to reconnect with my essence. If Javi hadn’t pushed me to share them and develop them together, this album wouldn’t exist.” That vulnerability sits at the heart of dive in / breathe out: a record born from friendship, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to beauty above all else.

Recorded at Green Cross Studios and produced by Grammy-nominated British mixer, producer, and writer John Foyle and Rotterdam-based songwriter and producer Mucky, the album reflects an ambitious creative leap. Foyle, whose work spans collaborations with Damon Albarn, Gorillaz, Sampha, FKA Twigs, and Mark Ronson, brings his seasoned expertise in recording, production, and mixing to the project. Mucky, with a genre-fluid approach and songwriting credits on releases by Sevdaliza, Pabllo Vittar, Wiley, and others, contributes his sharp melodic instincts and international perspective. Together, they help shape a sound that is intricate, timeless, and emotionally resonant.

chinachinachina deliberately step away from market logic, trends, and immediacy, choosing instead to invest time, care, and resources into a sound that feels timeless rather than timely. Every arrangement, texture, and silence is intentional, crafted to stir emotion rather than chase impact.

With only a handful of singles released prior to the album, the band had already drawn attention from national media, Radio 3, Primavera Sound and Jenesaispop playlists, podcasts, and emerging artist lists for 2026 curated by figures such as Julio Ruiz and Mondosonoro. Dive in / breathe out now solidifies that early promise, positioning chinachinachina as a project built for longevity rather than momentum.

This is an album about risk, depth, and breath. About committing fully, as if every inhale were the first, and the last.

Four-track release highlights tenderness, wit, and emotional honesty

Molly Stone, the artist known for her “sweet voice, sharp tongue, unapologetically Molly”, returns with The Softies, a four-track EP that leans into gentleness without losing its bite.

Recognised for blending vulnerability with wit, Stone has built a reputation for songs that sound delicate while cutting deep. As Earmilk notes, her music balances “sweetness and sass… distinctly her own.” On The Softies, she strips things back further, spotlighting intimate songwriting, tender melodies, and emotional clarity.

Written over the last few years, the EP brings together a collection of Molly’s softer songs,  not bound by a single narrative, but unified by feeling. “I picked out my gentle songs and thought it would be nice to release them all together in a bundle,” she explains. The result is a quietly intentional project that proves softness can still be powerful, and that sweetness never means submission.

Sonically rooted in folk, pop, and acoustic singer-songwriter traditions, The Softies will resonate with fans of Taylor Swift, Lily Allen, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ed Sheeran. Tracks like “Maybe I’m a Handful” and “Glitter” showcase Molly’s signature honesty, while “You Left So Suddenly” explores the restraint and grace of her dad’s death. Closing track “I Just Wanna Give You Love”, featuring Nathan Thomas, offers warmth and connection without losing emotional edge.

The Softies is a quieter release, but no less deliberate. It’s Molly Stone at her most tender, self-assured, and emotionally precise.

FREE/MAN Releases “Redemption Song”: A Soulful Reinterpretation Rooted in Healing and Freedom

London-based singer-songwriter FREE/MAN (Charlie Freeman) unveils “Redemption Song,” a deeply moving reinterpretation of Bob Marley’s timeless classic, reimagined through his own alt-soul/rock lens. Stripped back, heartfelt, and spiritually charged, the release stands as both a tribute and a personal statement, one that reflects Freeman’s ongoing exploration of truth, freedom, and collective healing.

Known for his melodic sensitivity and emotional honesty, FREE/MAN approaches Redemption Song not as a cover, but as a conversation across generations. His version retains the song’s core message of liberation while infusing it with warmth drawn from ’70s rock ‘n’ roll, Britpop soul, and Americana intimacy. The result is a reverent yet contemporary take, understated, powerful, and profoundly human.

The single appears on Freeman’s latest EP, Reconnection, a 14-minute, four-track project that marks a moment of artistic reaffirmation. Across the EP, which also features Not Tomorrow, Bluebird, and Two Witches, Freeman leans into music’s ability to reconnect us with ourselves and one another. Redemption Song sits at the emotional heart of the release, encapsulating its themes of resilience, acceptance, and spiritual awakening.

Reconnection also sets the tone for Freeman’s forthcoming full-length album, Gift In The Shadows, due at the end of 2025. Described by the artist as his “most personal work to date,” the album will further explore redemption, inner freedom, and finding light through adversity.

Freeman’s work continues to draw praise for its sincerity and emotional pull. Indie Buddie describes him as “instantly swayable and charming with an infectious buoyancy,” while Huffington Post highlights “an overwhelmingly contagious quality that is hard to shake off.” Indie Pulse adds, “His music has that fun-loving zeal for life. Definitely an artist to follow.”

To accompany this new chapter, FREE/MAN will embark on an extensive world tour beginning in late 2025, spanning Europe, the USA, Mexico, and Argentina. Designed as “immersive, connective gig experiences,” the shows will blend live music with meditation and spiritual reflection, transforming concerts into shared spaces of presence, release, and renewal.

For FREE/MAN, Redemption Song is more than a release; it’s a reminder. A reminder that music can still speak truth, dissolve boundaries, and guide us back to what matters most.

Drew Freeland Stakes Her Claim in Americana with New Single ‘Trouble’

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Drew Freeland has arrived with something real to say. Originally from the mountains of Virginia and now based in Cincinnati, Freeland brings grit, honesty, and hard-earned perspective to her music, qualities that shine brightly on her newly released single, “Trouble,” represented by Decent Music PR. Rooted in experience and delivered with raw conviction, the song marks another bold step forward for an artist carving out her own lane in modern Americana.

Freeland’s sound lives at the crossroads of country storytelling, blues-soaked folk, and the sharp edge of rock. It’s familiar but never safe. Her voice, deep, resonant, and unafraid, cuts straight to the truth, carrying stories of resilience, reflection, and heart. Onstage and on record, Drew Freeland leaves a mark that lingers long after the last note fades.

Written during the final stretch of a rocky five-year relationship, “Trouble” captures the moment when love turns restless, and the writing is already on the wall. Freeland calls it her “Johnny Cash song,” a nod to its stark storytelling and the way it leans into her lower vocal register. Equal parts defiant and liberating, the track carries a punch of sass and an uplifting, forward-driving energy, turning personal upheaval into an anthem about knowing when to walk away and choosing yourself on the other side.

Often compared to artists like Kacey Musgraves, Avril Lavigne, Maggie Rogers, Brandi Carlile, and Bonnie Raitt, Freeland moves fluidly through Country, Folk, and Americana, with flashes of Rock and Blues woven throughout. “Trouble” sits squarely in that gritty Americana blend, proving that vulnerability and backbone can, and should, coexist.

“Trouble” was produced by Joe Bianchi alongside Drew Freeland herself, a collaboration that keeps the track grounded and unpolished in all the right ways. Written solely by Freeland, the song’s honesty remains front and centre, while mix engineer Jon Estes and mastering engineer Brandon Busch bring clarity and muscle to the final cut without sanding down its edges.

With “Trouble,” Drew Freeland doesn’t ask for attention; she earns it. This is Americana with dirt under its fingernails and a fire still burning.

Clyde the Band Channels 90s Alt-Rock Grit on New Single ‘Better’

LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS

Los Angeles–based alternative rock duo Clyde the Band continues to carve out a space of their own with the release of their new single, “Better.”

Drawing inspiration from the raw emotion and distorted textures of 90s alternative rock, the band blends gritty guitars, driving rhythms, and introspective lyricism into a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

“Better” explores the emotional weight of being invalidated by the people closest to you, whether that’s a significant other, family member, or friend. Rooted in the band’s own experiences and past relationships, the track captures the quiet insecurity that builds when your feelings are dismissed, while offering a sense of catharsis for listeners who have lived through similar moments.

Sonically, Clyde the Band balances melody and distortion, pairing hook-driven songwriting with a raw, unfiltered edge. Fans of Wunderhorse, Weezer, Fountains of Wayne, Pavement, and Pixies will feel right at home in the band’s emotionally honest approach and guitar-forward sound.

With “Better,” Clyde the Band delivers a relatable anthem for anyone who’s ever questioned their worth, proving that vulnerability and volume can coexist.

Will Foulke Releases New Single ‘Fresh Air’: A Genre-Blending Shot of Funk, Blues, and Pop Energy

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Rising producer, singer-songwriter, and guitarist Will Foulke returns with “Fresh Air,” an upbeat, funk-infused new single that captures the raw energy and musical confidence of one of modern blues-inspired songwriting’s most promising young voices.

Since first stepping onto the scene in 2021 with his debut single “No Going Back,” Foulke has steadily built a reputation for pairing technical guitar prowess with thoughtful, emotionally grounded storytelling. His 2022 EP Mystic, along with a series of well-received singles, helped establish a growing global fanbase and rack up tens of thousands of listens, contributing to over 180,000 streams on Spotify to date.

Written and produced at Truphonic Studios in Charleston, South Carolina, “Fresh Air” showcases Foulke’s evolving sound, an infectious blend of funk grooves, blues guitar, and pop-forward melodies. The track feels unfiltered and alive, driven by a tight rhythm section, expressive guitar lines, and a sense of momentum that mirrors its title. It’s a song about movement, release, and reclaiming clarity, musically and emotionally.

Foulke’s musical journey began at age 12, when he received his first acoustic guitar and immersed himself in the riffs of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Those early influences remain present, but “Fresh Air” also reflects a melodic sensibility inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, signalling an artist increasingly comfortable blurring genre boundaries while staying true to his roots.

After six years of honing his craft, releasing two albums, and cultivating a distinct pop/rock/blues hybrid sound, Will Foulke is entering a new chapter, one defined by confidence, groove, and creative freedom. “Fresh Air” stands as both a celebration of that growth and an invitation for listeners to experience an artist hitting his stride.
