Americana, country, and blues artist Iyla Elise is set to release her tenth single, “Ain’t Linear”, marking another milestone in a steadily growing body of deeply resonant work. Known for her relatable lyrics, powerful melodies, and soulful delivery, Iyla Elise continues to carve out space as one of the most compelling emerging voices in Americana.

Hailing from a small town on the east coast of Virginia, Iyla’s music blends rich storytelling with emotional honesty, drawing influence from a wide range of artists including John Denver, Billy Joel, Norah Jones, Chris Stapleton, and Stevie Wonder. Her songs often feel both intimate and universal, inviting listeners to see their own lived experiences reflected in her narratives. As Pitch Perfect Music noted in 2025, Iyla’s work has “a way of making vulnerability feel like strength.”

“Ain’t Linear” is a blues- and soul-forward love song that fuses Americana, country, and blues, offering a warm, feel-good groove layered with emotional complexity. Produced by Simon Reid, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and mixing/mastering engineer, the track captures the push and pull of love that isn’t always easy, but is ultimately worth fighting for. “It’s a feel-good love song with a tinge of sadness,” Iyla explains. “I love adding emotional layers to my writing—something that feels multi-dimensional and complex, kind of like life. This song is about remembering what you have and choosing to fight for it, even when things get tough.”

Fans of Marcus King, Chris Stapleton, The Red Clay Strays, Ella Langley, Jackson Dean, Pony Bradshaw, Norah Jones, and John Denver will find familiar ground in Iyla’s blend of soulful vocals and roots-driven storytelling.

Iyla Elise released her debut EP, Outlier, in September 2023. The EP’s title track went on to become a finalist in the 25th Great American Song Contest that same year. Since then, she has released nine singles, steadily building momentum and critical acclaim. Her single “True North” was covered by Mesmerized, which praised the track for showing “why Iyla Elise has quickly become one of the most compelling new voices in Americana… ‘True North’ is not just a great song; it also offers a window into an artist who values authenticity and musical craftsmanship.”

Iyla’s work has been featured by numerous outlets, including The Big Music Takeover, A&R Factory, Mesmerized, Obscure, Broken Color Music, Pitch Perfect, Recording Artists Guild Digital Magazine, Buzz Slayers, and The Sounds Won’t Stop, further solidifying her presence in the independent Americana and roots music scene.

With “Ain’t Linear,” Iyla Elise continues to prove that emotional depth, authenticity, and musical craftsmanship are at the heart of her artistry, and that her journey is only just beginning.

Finesse Cobain Releases Powerful New Music Video ‘Chosen’: A Story of Survival, Heartbreak, and Rebirth

MUSIC VIDEO | MEDIA ASSETS

Rising emotional hip-hop artist Finesse Cobain releases the official music video for his new single “Chosen,” a deeply personal and cinematic declaration of resilience, rebirth, and self-realization.

Blending emotional hip-hop, dark trap, and underground rap, Chosen marks a defining moment in Finesse Cobain’s journey — not just as an artist, but as a survivor.

In 2019, Finesse narrowly survived a life-threatening shooting that left him relearning how to walk and confronting the reality that his life was never guaranteed. That experience reshaped his understanding of existence — not as something promised, but as something entrusted with responsibility and purpose.

Years later, in 2024, Finesse experienced another life-altering blow. A deeply meaningful relationship ended abruptly, leaving him isolated, stripped of support, and questioning his identity. The heartbreak, compounded by past betrayals, resulted in the loss of his job, his confidence, and his sense of self. What followed was a period of darkness many do not survive.

Instead of letting that pain consume him, Finesse made a conscious decision to rise.

“Chosen” was born from that turning point.

The music video visually captures this rebirth — portraying isolation, reflection, and ultimately transformation. It introduces what Finesse calls “The Mirror”: a reflection of the pain people hide, and proof that even in the deepest shadows, healing and purpose are possible.

More than a single, Chosen represents the first chapter of a new era for Finesse Cobain — one rooted in emotional honesty, vulnerability, and empowerment. His message is unwavering: You are Chosen. Never Broken.

Finesse Cobain continues to build momentum as a voice for those navigating heartbreak, loss, and self-discovery, drawing comparisons to artists such as Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd, Playboi Carti, XXXTENTACION, and Ken Carson, while carving out a lane uniquely his own.

“Chosen” is available now on all streaming platforms, with the official music video streaming on YouTube.

Maeve Alexander Shares Raw New Single ‘Nailbiter’

Rising alternative pop artist Maeve Alexander releases her latest single, “Nailbiter,” a strikingly honest exploration of the quiet devastation that follows a friendship breakup. Blending confessional songwriting with dynamic, emotionally charged melodies, “Nailbiter” positions Maeve as a powerful new voice in the alternative pop and indie rock space.

Written in the summer of 2025 during a period of deep personal recalibration, “Nailbiter” emerged quickly in the aftermath of the sudden end of a seven-year friendship. “The song wrote itself before I fully understood what I needed to say,” Maeve shares. “It felt important to release it almost immediately, for anyone who’s been through something similar. Friendship breakups carry a quiet, often unspoken grief, even when the devastation feels all-consuming.”

Now, Maeve views “Nailbiter” as a marker of growth and healing. The track captures both the ache of loss and the clarity that comes with time, reflecting the emotional evolution that defines her work as both a songwriter and an artist.

Maeve Alexander’s sound sits at the intersection of alternative pop and indie rock, drawing comparisons to Rachel Chinouriri, Lola Young, Syd Taylor, and Hayley Williams’ solo work. Her music blends raw, intentional lyricism with melodies full of movement, songs meant to be felt as much as they are heard.

A lifelong performer, Maeve has been captivating audiences since the age of 11. Her musical roots span classical training, fronting punk pop bands, and performing within local underground scenes. Most recently, she showcased her indie pop EP A Ghost Story at The Broadway in NYC, performing as part of a Breaking Sound curated artist lineup.

Maeve writes from the perspective of the late bloomer, the underdog who has failed upward, learned in public, and kept going anyway. Her music resonates with listeners unafraid to feel deeply, sit with discomfort, and transform pain into momentum toward self-awareness and clarity. In this new creative chapter, Maeve describes her work as being “rooted in tender spaces of human connection and self-reflection, dissecting the ways we reach for each other, and the ways fear of abandonment or betrayal can lead to self-destructive habits.”

“Nailbiter” stands as a defining piece of Maeve Alexander’s forthcoming project and signals a bold, emotionally resonant direction for what’s next.

Following the release of “You Have To” in January 2024, NMDA and Isabelle Rose began exploring a deeper artistic partnership — one rooted in authenticity, experimentation, and emotional resonance. Bad Dreams marks a pivotal moment in their shared creative evolution, blending introspection with groove, and reminding listeners that even our darkest experiences can give rise to beauty.

In a striking collaboration that blurs the line between soul and sound design, NMDA and Isabelle Rose unveil their new single “Bad Dreams.” The track weaves hypnotic electronic textures with deeply personal lyricism — transforming vulnerability into strength and sonic artistry.

Born from an impromptu writing session between the two artists, Bad Dreams channels Isabelle Rose’s six-year battle with recurring nightmares into a haunting yet cathartic listening experience. Over NMDA’s lush, jazz-infused production, Rose’s vocals soar — raw, powerful, and full of emotion. The result is a soul-stirring journey through fear, healing, and creative transcendence.

“Bad Dreams came from a really personal place,” says Isabelle Rose. “It’s about taking something that once controlled me — the fear, the sleepless nights — and turning it into art. There’s a strange kind of freedom in that.”

Originally conceived as an instrumental track titled “You Have To,” NMDA’s composition fused hip hop grooves with jazz harmonies and textured electronic layers. When Rose first heard it, her voice became the missing piece — a collaboration that brought new depth to NMDA’s sonic world and gave rise to the emotionally charged Bad Dreams.

“Working with Isabelle opened up new creative territory,” says NMDA. “Her voice carries both grit and grace — it breathes humanity into the production. This project is about finding light in the dark, together.”

About the Artists

NMDA: Crafting Sound Without Boundaries
A multi-instrumentalist and producer, NMDA fuses live instrumentation with electronic experimentation to create genre-defying soundscapes. His style spans chillhop, downtempo, funk, and electro-soul — influenced by artists like FKJ, Gramatik, Lettuce, GRiZ, and Emancipator. With roots in guitar and saxophone, NMDA’s music blends organic groove with digital precision, resulting in a sound that moves both body and mind.

Isabelle Rose: A Soulful Voice with Timeless Power
From Bethel, Connecticut, Isabelle Rose brings a powerhouse voice shaped by jazz and classical training, yet rooted in raw emotion. Drawing inspiration from Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Susan Tedeschi, and Joss Stone, Rose has performed with acts including Deep Banana Blackout and Funky Dawgz Brass Band. Her performances combine grit, gospel, and grace — commanding attention with every note.

SunSkip Releases New Single ‘Sincerely’

A Stirring Folk-Rock Narrative on Aging, Connection, and the Things We Leave Unsaid

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Indie folk and alt-country artist SunSkip (the musical project of singer-songwriter Sean Maljanian) returns with “Sincerely,” a heartfelt new single blending warm storytelling with a vibrant, honky-tonk energy. The track is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Rooted in the intimacy of handwritten letters, “Sincerely” follows two characters, John and Sue, as they exchange notes later in life. While their words remain gentle on the surface, the deeper truth emerges between the lines: a shared emotional weight, the complexities of growing older, and the quiet struggles rarely spoken aloud. The result is a song that feels both tender and unflinchingly honest.

“Many of the harsh realities that come with getting older aren’t talked about enough in modern music,” Maljanian says. “A lot of people from John and Sue’s generation grew up at a time when mental health simply wasn’t discussed. They still feel like they ‘shouldn’t complain,’ even when they’re carrying so much underneath. I wanted to give voice to that, to the things we hide even from the people we love.”

Following the release of his EP Smoke and Mirrors, Maljanian sought to break out of the quiet indie-folk mould with something that would get listeners moving. What began as a simple idea quickly exploded into a full-blown folk-rock barn burner.

Working with producer Kory Burrel, the recording sessions took on an electrifying, off-the-rails spirit, one that included bottles, pans, and even a giant cardboard box in place of traditional percussion.

“We went completely berserk in the studio,” Maljanian laughs. “We wanted it to feel like a very alive saloon where the band is going absolutely crazy in the best way.”

The single features:

  • Vocals & Guitar: Sean Maljanian
  • Bass, Piano & Backing Vocals: Kory Burrel
  • Drums: Colum Enrique
  • Produced & Mixed by: Kory Burrel
  • Mastered by: Jesse Morvan

This spring, SunSkip will bring “Sincerely” to stages across New York City, including a filmed live performance with the acclaimed video team I Know We Should, known for their work with American Fest, Bluegrass Station, and No Depression. Additional NYC shows will be announced soon.

About SunSkip

Music has been woven into Maljanian’s life since childhood, weekends spent at his grandparents’ home, surrounded by upright basses, mandolins, and well-loved guitars. His earliest music memory, slipping an acorn inside one of those basses, became the accidental seed of a lifelong pursuit. He picked up a guitar at nine, began performing live at twelve, and has carried his early folk influences with him ever since. Years immersed in New York City’s rich, eclectic music scene added a rougher edge to his writing, culminating in SunSkip’s distinct indie folk, alt-country, and folk-rock sound. Fans of John Moreland, Jack Davies, and Jake Xerxes Fussell will find a familiar resonance in his work.

Vera Weber Earns Major International Recognition with Hollywood Music in Media Award Nomination.

Los Angeles–born composer, songwriter, and artist bridges US and European television with bold, genre‑defying work

Vera Weber, a Los Angeles–born and raised composer, songwriter, and vocalist working across film, television, and contemporary music, continues to gain international attention following a series of high‑profile award nominations and an upcoming music release tied to a major European television series.

In November 2025, Weber received a Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) nomination for Best Song in a Limited Series for her song “Rosebud,” featured in Netflix’s German thriller Woman of the Dead (Die Totenfrau), Season 2. The category was among the most competitive of the year, with Weber emerging as a surprise underdog nominee alongside global superstars including Lady Gaga, Evanescence, and Twenty One Pilots, with the award ultimately going to Lady Gaga.

“Rosebud,” released via Milan Records (Sony Music France), was written and performed by Weber, with composition by Weber and longtime collaborator Caleb Veazey. The song functions as a powerful queer anthem within the series, written for a trans character portrayed by trans actress Hayal Kaya, who also performs a cover of the song in a pivotal on‑screen scene. Weber served as the composer for the series’ songs, writing three original tracks, all of which appear on the official soundtrack album.

Weber’s momentum continues into 2026 with an upcoming nomination at the German Television Academy Awards (Deutsche Akademie für Fernsehen), taking place in late February. She is nominated for Best Original Score in a TV Film for Die Stille Am Ende der Nacht (The Stillness at the End of the Night), a 90‑minute thriller produced by Network Movie GmbH for ZDF and directed by Lars Gunnar Lotz. Weber co‑composed the score alongside acclaimed composer Matthias Weber, known for his work on Das Boot (Sky/Hulu) and multiple Academy Award–winning feature films.

The score stands out for its unconventional approach, heavily featuring Vera Weber’s vocals woven into suspense‑driven, techno‑ and pop‑influenced thriller arrangements.

Earlier this winter, Weber was also nominated at Televisionale Weimar (December 2025) for Best Film Music in a TV Film or Series for Ewig Dein (Forever Yours), a thriller directed by Johanna Moder, a Berlinale Golden Bear nominee. The film was produced by Tivoli Film GmbH and Mona Film GmbH for ZDF and ORF. The nomination reflects Weber’s ongoing presence within Europe’s television music landscape.

Alongside her award recognition, Weber is set to release new music in early January 2026 connected to the upcoming ZDF Neo series Take the Money and Run, produced by pyjama pictures GmbH. The series, premiering January 5, explores the true‑crime story of Ruja Ignatova, the infamous Bulgarian‑German “Cryptoqueen” and one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives.

The end‑title song “Satan’s Advice,” releasing January 3, was written specifically for the series and is inspired by Ignatova’s extravagant, globe‑trotting life and eventual downfall. The track marks the debut release of Candy as a Nun, a new indie‑pop project by Weber and guitarist/composer Caleb Veazey, with the pair sharing songwriting duties equally. Weber performs lead vocals on the song. While the series’ original score will not be released as a soundtrack, “Satan’s Advice” serves as a standalone artistic statement drawn directly from the show’s themes.

Weber’s compositional style fuses contemporary popular music with cinematic scoring, incorporating layered vocal production, strings, choir, synths, guitars, percussion, and experimental textures. Her work has drawn comparisons to composers such as Mica Levi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Jonny Greenwood, and Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, while her songwriting aligns with artists like Sharon Van Etten, Beach House, and Billie Eilish.

Based in Los Angeles with deep professional roots in Germany and Austria, Vera Weber continues to build a transatlantic career that challenges genre boundaries and brings emotionally charged, culturally resonant music to the screen.

Katie Dauson Unleashes Grit and Groove on ‘Get Ready’

LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS

Toronto’s versatile and genre-defying singer-songwriter Katie Dauson is back with her latest single, ‘Get Ready’, a high-energy rock and roll track infused with blues and rockabilly elements. Known for her ability to seamlessly weave together rock and roll, surf rock, rockabilly, folk, and bluegrass, Dauson continues to craft songs that are both timeless and uniquely her own.

“I was listening to a lot of 70s rock and roll and rockabilly music, which inspired me to write this song,” Dauson shares. “Originally, there was no harmonica in the track, but after hearing Bob Seger’s Katmandu and his iconic harmonica solos, I knew I had to add them—and play them myself. The song is full of energy, from the vocals to the rhythm guitar and harmonica solos. Lyrically, it’s about self-doubt pushing me to do better, confronting detractors, and challenging them to rise up too. Even with its deeper meaning, I wanted to keep the song positive and upbeat.”

Lyrically, ‘Get Ready’ explores self-doubt and the drive it sparks, while also confronting detractors with a challenge: rise up or step aside. Despite its deeper meaning, Dauson frames the track in an upbeat, positive vibe that makes it impossible not to move along.

Dauson drew inspiration from blues harmonica legends Junior Wells and James Cotton, merging their soulful grit with classic 70s rock and rockabilly energy. She played rhythm guitar on her 2014 left-handed Gretsch Duo Jet, channeling George Harrison and the Beatles, while infusing her vocals with the rough-edged style of artists like Bob Seger and Wanda Jackson.

‘Get Ready’ is produced and engineered by James Nickle, and features Dauson’s own rhythm guitar and harmonica solos, showcasing her signature blend of skill, passion, and versatility.

Nigerian-born artist Dantiti is back with his latest single, “Big Big Tinz”, a vibrant testament to his journey through Afrobeats, Afrofusion, rap, and R&B, in collaboration with Decent Music PR. Known for blending infectious grooves with heartfelt storytelling, Dantiti continues to carve out a unique space in contemporary African music.

Raised in Benin City, Dantiti fell in love with music at an early age, rapping along to Notorious B.I.G. and dreaming of becoming a DJ. His teenage years were marked by a deep dive into beat-making, a passion that followed him from Nigeria to Ghana and eventually the UK, where he studied Marketing at the University of Wolverhampton.

In 2017, he founded iDope Records, a family-run label emphasizing independence and creative control. Early collaborations with acclaimed producer Princetonbeatz in Lagos helped shape his signature sound, blending the energy of Afrobeat legends like Fela Kuti with his own reflective tone.

Dantiti’s debut single “Sweet Carolina” (2021) introduced his distinctive voice, followed by “Yemisi”, a melodic Afrobeats love song that offered a more personal glimpse into his artistry. His first EP, released in 2025 under iDope Records, traced his evolution as both an artist and producer, showcasing his versatility across genres.

“Big Big Tinz” was born from a spark of creative energy. Dantiti explains, “Leo Pynk sent me the beat, which was originally made for Davido. When Davido didn’t take it, I knew it was meant for me. I wrote and recorded the song in my apartment studio, and after sending it back to Leo, he loved it and requested to be featured. That’s how ‘Big Big Tinz’ came to life.” Produced, mixed, and mastered by Leo Pynk, the track pulses with optimism and the feeling that wherever life takes you, there’s always a rhythm to move to.

With themes of love, resilience, and self-expression, Dantiti’s music continues to resonate with audiences worldwide. “Big Big Tinz” is available on all streaming platforms, and marks another exciting chapter in the journey of one of Nigeria’s most dynamic emerging artists.

Why Another Release “Hold On Tight”

LISTEN HERE | MUSIC VIDEO | ARTWORK | MEDIA ASSETS

Socials: Instagram, Spotify, YouTube, Website

NYC based Why Another return with “Hold On Tight”, a dark indie-rock journey reflecting on the emotional turmoil forged by a messy and unpredictable world. The song captures a rare moment in the human experience, the uneasy acceptance that chaos cannot always be resolved or controlled. Above all, ”Hold On Tight” challenges listeners to find balance and quiet hope in a fast-paced world that doesn’t let up.

“Hold On Tight” opens with a bold, groove-driven energy anchored by an arresting guitar riff, drawing listeners into a world of tension and uncertainty. As the song progresses, it transforms, rhythmically and emotionally, reflecting the shift from external panic to internal clarity. The result is both intimate and cinematic: a cathartic anthem about letting go when everything feels like it’s falling apart..

Musically, the track was written to highlight each band member’s strengths, thriving on dynamic interplay and live chemistry. Produced by Adi Malka, Franky Gonzalez, Jordan Howard Kerr, Yong Yoon Kim, and Pietro Gennenzi, the song channels raw feeling into sonic release, a hallmark of Why Another’s evolving sound.

The single is accompanied by an animated short film, a surreal visual narrative that follows a nameless character in total free fall. Panicked at first, he slowly learns to accept the descent, encountering surreal objects and fleeting moments of fear and wonder. The animation style is inspired by printmaking. Blown out shapes morph between abstraction and legibility. Flat colors overlap in a mesmerizing, inky blur. Throughout the character’s journey, each frame is at once a deep void and a flat surface.  As he surrenders to the fall, the chaos dissolves, and he discovers peace in simply being. It’s a powerful visual echo of the song’s core message: no more control, no more struggle, just release.

About Why Another

New York-based Why Another crafts songs that feel like inner dialogue, intimate, reflective, and cinematic in scope. Their sound fuses warm analogue textures with modern indie-rock dynamics, evoking nostalgia while pushing boundaries. Centred around Adi Malka’s distinct tone and melodic instinct, the band explores the space between vulnerability and bold experimentation.

Tracks like “Outside the Globe,” “Beware,” and “Garden Fade” have earned acclaim for their hypnotic grooves and emotional depth, praised by outlets including Lost in the Manor, Where the Music Meets, Musikepool, and Hailtunes.

On stage, Why Another transforms introspection into connection; their live shows are equal parts immersive and human, offering audiences not just a performance, but a shared experience.

“Hold On Tight” continues that tradition, reminding us that even when the world spins out of control, there’s strength in letting go.
